To You, God's Beloved

I apologize for letting a couple weeks go by without a post. I have not really been taking the time for email and such. Our ladies group from church is doing a study titled “Lies Women Believe” by Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Moody Press. I have really been enjoying the opportunity to sit and dig in at Jesus’ feet.

This evenings post is something the Lord has been formulating in my mind. Thus, here is a word of encouragement from God to you, His beloved.

Chosen One,

I love you with an everlasting, unconditional love. I never change so you can bet what I say I mean. So let your beauty be that of the inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in My site. This is the way the holy women of the past, who put their hope in Me, used to make themselves beautiful. Adorn yourself in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation; which is proper for women professing godliness with good works.

Precious one, remember, charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.

So, meet with me each morning, and let Me remind you just how special to Me you are. Allow yourself to rest in My presence, where you will find joy and refreshing for your soul.

Love,
Jesus
